MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to encourage young people on the Georgetown Divide to include and embrace music as part of their lives. We believe that music should be a critical component in the education and life-development of young people, and we strive to reinforce that direction through financial support.

BESAN-TOMFOHRDE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The community is invited to contribute to the Besan-Tomfohrde Scholarship Fund. The focus of the scholarship program is to facilitate private and group lessons for local schoolchildren, finding and repairing instruments to loan and funding in-school group lessons. Donations to the scholarship fund may be tax-deductible and can be made at any time by mail to Music On The Divide, P.O. Box 1055, Georgetown, CA 95634 or at any MOTD concert.
